Robbery in  Edgeworthstown

Gardai in Edgeworthstown are appealing to anyone who may have been in the vicinity of the Ballymahon Road outside Edgeworthstown between 8.30pm on Monday evening and 7.30am on Tuesday (yesterday) morning, to come forward in relation to a robbery in the area.

Two fuel tanks were drained from a farm yard on the road, while a large amount of electrical equipment including chainsaws, strimmers and wrenches were removed from the vicinity, while electric fence devices were also taken.

Anyone who may have any information on this incident is urged to contact Edgeworthstown Garda Station on 043-6671002.
