PATTERN DAY: Despite the heavy showers a large crowd turned out to attend Pattern Day at Lady Well, Derrydarragh last Saturday evening the 4th of September. Generations from cashel and surrounding areas have visited this well and people still come to this beautiful place to find solitude and tranquility and to pray for healing of body and spirit.

SOCIAL

A social will take place in Fallons lounge this Saturday the 11th of September in aid of Fr Tom Kearney's Mission in Cuba. Music is by Fran Deffew. Admission is optional.

TIDY TOWNS

The Tidy Towns awards ceremony 2010 takes place inn the Mahony Hall , the Helix DCU Dublin on this Monday the 13th of September at 12 noon. Newtowncashel has been Invited to send five representatives,we hope that all the hard work and effort over the past years brings its deserved results.

Eimear Flynn wishes to thank everybody who contributed so generously to her recent fundraiser in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. The amount raised was 500 euro.

GLEE

Lisa Fox will be running "Glee Club" in Ballymahon's Dean Egan Library every Saturday from September 18th, 9-10.30am. All ages are welcome to join. "Glee Club" will consist of singing, dancing and drama. Members can participate in one or all of these activities. For booking or for more information on cost, please call Lisa on (087) 761 9605.

CASHEL GAA

There was no winner of the Lotto. Numbers drawn 8,9,19,28. Thirty euro winner Con McLoughlin. Twenty euro winners John Hand, Mary Bermingham and Jennifer Skellly. Next weeks Jackpot 5,700 euro. Draw takes place in Fallons and the Team on duty are; Ann Kenny, Paul Kelly and Paddy Donlon. The winners of the two All-Ireland Hurling tickets were Gerard Dennigan and Declan Fox. A draw for Two All-Ireland Football tickets will take place on Fri 17th September. This offers members an opportunity to purchase these tickets if their names are drawn from the hat!!!All memembers interested are to contact Maura Skelly on or before 17th September at 6pm.
