Man arrested on public order charge

A 29-year-old man from the Dublin area was arrested in Longford on the night of Saturday October 13th last, after an altercation at a house in the town.

Gardai arrived at a residence in the College Park area at approximately 10pm after receiving a call and the man was arrested on the scene on public order charges and brought to Longford Garda Station. A file in relation to the incident has been sent forward to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
