A selection of rare books on County Longford will be offered for sale by Boro Books at an upcoming Antiques and Fine Art Fair at the Greville Arms Hotel in Mullingar.

One of the highlights is a first edition of ‘History of the County Longford’ by James P Farrell, published in 1891 (pictured here). Another of Farrell’s works, ‘Historical Notes of County Longford’ will also be featured.

Other books on offer at the fair include a copy of Eugene McGee’s ‘St Mel’s of Longford: 1865 – 1990’ and ‘The Midlands’ – a local historical journal published by Leo Daly in 1976, which features articles on the Longford area.

The Antique and Fine Art fair will take place at the Greville Arms Hotel, Mullingar, on Sunday, February 3 between 11am and 5pm.
