CONDOLENCE: Sincere sympathy is extended to Bridie Trapp and families Amenia New York, USA on the sad bereavement of her husband Peter (Formerly Drumacooha, Co Longford) who died on 15th August 2010.

Peter departed from his loved ones in Drumacooha to sail to New York in 1949. To his wife Bridie, daughters Ann Marie Shelia, son Peter Brothers Joe and Willie , sisters Mary Eileen Annie Bridie (Davis) extended relatives and friends we offer our condolence. Burial was celebrated in New York. May he rest in peace. Also sincere sympathy is extended to Pat and Marie Quinn and families Cloonagh Drumlish, Brien Quinn and families USA Nellie Farrell and families Carabeg Drumlish Eivers families Edgeworthstown extended relatives friends on the sad bereavement of their aunt Eilzabetth (Lizzie Rose) Kavanagh (nee Quinn) in her 104th year Cloonagh Drumlish and wife of late Charlie. Requiem mass was celebrated in Our Lady manor Edgeworthstown with burial in Clonbroney last week. May she rest peacefully.

Sincere condolence is extended to John Mumford and family Pulladoey Aughnacliffe Co Longford on the recent sad bereavement of his dear wife Rose (nee McGee formerly Co Sligo). To her husband John , brothers Pat Bernard Michael , sisters Jacinta Brierton and family Bundoon, Killoe , Geraldine Fallon and family Sligo, brothers in law Martin and Pat extended relatives and friends we extend our sympathy. Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Sligo with burial afterwards in Co Sligo. May she rest peacefully.

THOMAS AND MARIAN WED

A big congratulations to Thomas Reilly son of Brian and Marian Farragh Killoe who exchanged wedding vows with Lisa Hoare daughter of Mr and Mrs Hoare Ballymulvey, Ballymahon Co Longford joined by families and friends in the Franciscan Abbey Multyfarnham co Westmeath last week. An enjoyable reception was held afterwards in the Mullingar Park Hotel Co Westmeath with guests swinging to the music of Busy Fingers raved the night away united in opinion. To Tommy Lisa and their families we extend great health and happiness for the future. Also a big congrats to Oliver Killian son of Johnny and Maggie Lettergunnell who exchanged nuptials with Sinead Breslin daughter of Mr and Mrs Michael Breslin Rathcormac Co Sligo joined by family and friends in St Columcille's Church Rathcormac Co Sligo recently. Reception was held in the Radisson Blu Hotel Rosses Point Sligo with yet another swinging night enjoyed by all guests including the music from Busy Fingers. We extend good health and happiness to Oliver Sinead and families and wish the happy couple good luck!

KILLOE COMMUNITY GAMES 2010

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Community Games stalwart Josie Kenny on Wednesday last, the 1st of September. Josie, together with his wife Patsy, has been involved in Community Games for nearly 40 years. He was known throughout the county and beyond for his huge commitment to the organisation and also to the well-being of all young people. Community Games was very fortunate to have had Josie among its ranks and he will be warmly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

From everyone involved in Killoe Community Games, we extend our deepest sympathy to his beloved wife Patsy, son, daughters, grandchildren, sisters and extended family. Ar dheis Dgo raibh a anam dlis.
