Copper piping stolen

Damage estimated at €1,500 was caused to a house undergoing renovation in the Springlawn area of Longford town at the weekend.

Copper piping was stolen from the premises and a stainless steel cylinder was also damaged during the incident, which occurred sometime between 5.30pm on Friday, January 25 and 9am on Monday, January 28.

In a separate incident, windows were broken at a house in Farneyhoogan on Saturday, January 26 at approximately 11.30pm. Entry was gained to the premises but no items were taken.
