Cathedral appeal lodged

Another appeal has been lodged against the redevelopment of St. Mel’s Cathedral.

Longford Town Council granted permission on November 27 last for works to the interior of St. Mel’s Cathedral including fitting of windows, cleaning of external stoneworks and associated works.

The decision has been appealed to An Bord Pleanala by Liam Madden on December 11 last. The case is due to be decision on or before April 24 next.
