Briquettes and coal and stolen from Longford store

A public appeal has been launched by gardai this week after a series of home heating equipment was stolen from a shop in Longford town.

Coal and briquettes were among the items taken from The Check Out Shop at Ardnacassa Avenue during a late-night break-in last Wednesday night.

Gardai are unsure as to the exact time thieves made off with the goods, but believe it occurred some time between 11pm last Wednesday (August 22) and 3am the following morning.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Longford Garda Station at 043 3350570.
