Blind date mania set to take over Drumlish
It'll be a lorra lorra laughs luvey! Following in the footsteps of the legendary Cilla Black, the Drumlish community is getting ready to host a sensational Blind Date night!
Taking place at O'Reilly's Bar on Saturday, December 19 next, the night promises to attract romantic hopefuls from far and wide.
The aid of the local Tidy Towns, the event will raise some much needed cash to keep the village in pristine condition. Suitors and spectators will gather in the bar for what is guaranteed to be a great night's fun with lots of spot prizes on offer as well.
Gillian O'Reilly, PRO, Drumlish Tidy Towns Committee said that preparations were now complete. "Everyone is ready and it is going to be a great night out for contestants and the audience.
"The five pubs in the village have selected three males and two females and the Tidy Towns Committee have also select matching contestants. There will be some fantastic prizes for the winning couples."
The Blind Date event will no doubt be north Longford's event of the year and is a night out not to be missed.
Tickets are currently on sale in all the local shops and bars for v10 and are also available from committee members.
Party goers can also pay on the night and there will be plenty of spot prizes up for grabs!
