Lisa Fox will be running 'Glee Club' in Abbeylara's Resource centre every Saturday from 18th Sept at 3.30-5pm. Youth of all ages are welcome to join. Paper Planes
Congratulations once again to local band Paper Planes who won the battle in the Longford's Failte Festival Battle of the Bands. They participated in the first heat on Friday 27th and went on to compete in the final on the Saturday night. The prize was playing support to The Coronas at the 'YardJam Fest 2010' which takes place on September 11th Kellehers, Main Street Longford. Tickets are on sale in the Douglas& Kaldi restaurant (up over Stensons Chemist) so don't be disappointed and miss a great evenings entertainment.
