Edgeworthstown Christmas Craft Fair will be held in St. Mary’s Community Centre, Granard Road, on Sunday, 6th December from 10a.m. to 6p.m.. Switching on of Christmas lights on Sunday, 6th December at 6pm outside Costcutter by well known local actress Lisa Fox (famous for her roles as Gertie Guna from the Beo Show and Ex-Girlfriend in Once The Musical). Come along and meet Santa Claus and Mrs Claus and enjoy some Hot Chocolate, Mulled Wine, Christmas Cookies. Listen to the wonderful Carol Singers and see our towns very first Christmas Tree come to light.
Edgeworthstown Development Association are hosting a fundraising concert in St. Mary’s Church on Wednesday, 16th. December at 7.30pm. The concert will feature Longford County Choir lead by Fintan Farrelly, St. Mary’s School choir, Mostrim Folk Group, Gospel Choir and fresh from their appearance on the Late Late Toy Show, Se Chairde. This promises to be a great evening of entertainment. Tickets cost €10 and can be got from J & M Gift Store, Quinn’s Supply Stores or from the Old Schoolhouse on the Ballymahon Rd. 043 6671801. Tickets will also be available after parish masses in the ticket booth.
