Trad for Trocaire

Joe Callaghan CCE are hosting a night of traditional Irish music, song and dance in the Mostrim Arms Hotel on Friday, 13th November 2015 at 9.30p.m. A junior session for younger musicians will take place in the Community Centre at 8p.m. Please support this very worthy fundraiser.

Benefit Dance

A Benefit Dance for the family of the late Sean Mulligan, Ballinamuck will take place in the Breffni Arms Hotel, Arva on Monday 16th November 2015.Music on the night by Night Fever, Mick Flavin, Noel Cassidy, Jimmy Hussey, Busy Fingers Tickets cost €10 each - the committee will be out selling tickets over the next few weeks and your support will be very much appreciated.Tickets will also be on sale in Fox’s Gala.

Playground Committee

Point to Point

Longford Westmeath Point to Point races take place this Sunday, November 15th at Corbeagh House with the first of six races over National Hunt fences going to post at 12 noon.Bookmakers will be in attendance with live commentary of the races. Car parking will be available and also hot food and beverages.

Is on Monday 16th Nov at 8pm in Holy Trinity Church to prepare for Christmas. All members are asked to attend.

A cheque for €19,000 was presented last weekend in Rawle’s Bar IMNDA and the RMN by the local fundraising committee. Well done to all involved.

Congrats

Congratulations to Karen Keogh, daughter of Willy and Margaret, Listrahee and Colm McNally, Stonepark who recently got married in Puerto del Carmen in Lanzarote. Bridesmaids were Lorraine Keogh and Aine Jordan. Groomsmen were Steven and James McNally. The reception was held in Porta Callero. All the guests that travelled enjoyed the fabulous celebration in the sun. We wish Karen and Colm a very happy life together.
