The Senior Citizen’s annual outing is being arranged for Thursday, 23rd July. The proposed venue is Bray. The cost is €30, which includes bus, morning coffee, lunch tea and gratitudes. A list will be in the post office for names of those who wish to travel.

County Minors

Hard luck to the Longford minor team who played Kildare in the Leinster Minor Championship final in Croke Park last Sunday. Well done to Joseph Heaney, who played really well, Colin Dalton, who is a member of the management team and Patrick Earley, who is a water boy for the team.

Wedding Bells

Congratulations to Catriona, daughter of Gerry and Bridgie Cahill, Lislea and Joe, son of Martin and Maureen Maloney, who married recently in the Slieve Russell hotel in Cavan. Bridesmaids were Denise Cahill, Una Lennon and Catriona Maloney. Groomsmen were Dermot Manning, Ciaran Reilly and Padraic Higgins. Guests enjoyed a beautiful meal in the hotel and danced the night away to the Dance On Band. We wish them all the best in the future.
