Fr Eamon to depart

We received news in recent weeks that Fr Eamon O’Connor PP is being transferred to the Parish of Strokestown. Fr. Eamon has been with us since about 2002 and during that time he has given excellent Pastoral Care to his flock. He at all times dedicated himself in total to the people of Whitehall\Scramogue. A function in appreciation of Fr Eamon’s support and care of the people of the Parish over the past thirteen years will take place in Keenan’s Hotel in Tarmonbarry on Friday, 24th July commencing at 9.30pm.
