Congratulations to Róisín Regan, Derryohill who recently graduated as an Air hostess with Ryanair. Róisín has her first flight this week to Rome, best wishes Róisín and enjoy getting paid to see the world.

Community Games

Best of luck to all the young artists of the parish who are competing in the community games art final this Saturday, 28th February in St. Emer’s National School Longford at 10am. All competitors need to bring their own drawing and colouring equipment.


This week the Mission team are visiting all homes in the parish, they will leave the mission programme with details of Mass and devotion times etc, for next week. They will also be celebrating Mass each morning in St Patrick’s Church, Killashee at 10am, you are invited to come along.

GAA Lotto

St Brigid’s GAA Lotto on 22/2/2015 numbers drawn were 2, 10, 16, 29. There was no Jackpot winner. €40 winner was Paddy Norton, €20 winners were Paddy Casey, Margaret Duffy and Mickey Bennett. Next jackpot is €7,400 and the next draw is in Magan’s on Sunday 8th March. The yearly St Brigid’s lotto tickets are available from any of the committee members for €45. Purchasing this yearly subscription ensures you are entered into all draws throughout the year and you are assisting funding the club in the year ahead.

Registration is now is now due priced at €40 for players (players are not insured if the registration is not paid). €20 for non players. Family deals available for €50. Money can be given to any of the Registrars- Johnny Casey, Michael Magan and Anne Evans. Fundraising for a replacement of a defibrillator for the St Brigid’s GAA club house. To assist in funding a new defibrillator we are looking for Scrap metal you may have lying around. It can be dropped in Liam Farrell’s yard in Clondra during the week between 9am and 5pm.
