Newtownforbes & Kilglass Karate clubs competed in the 1st round of the AMA Leagues in Tallaght last weekend. Many thanks to all those who travelled on the day and competed. Our clubs won medals in every category in which they competed with some of our youngest and newest members taking part in the team Kata competition and coming in at second place to a Black belt team from Dunleer. This was a huge achievement and well done to all. For many of our students it was the first time they had taken part in this type of national competition and great credit must go to all.
