Warmer Homes Scheme

Longford Warmer Homes provides free attic insulation, cavity wall insulation and energy advice to elderly and disadvantaged home owners throughout the county that meet certain criteria. The Community Games committee would like to wish all the children heading to Athlone for the National finals this coming weekend the 16th to the 18th of August the very best of luck. Tolu Alaran U10 boys 200m. Ikea Collins girls U14 800m. Our U12 girls relay team - Teegan Murphy, Grace Butler, Yemi Talabi, Alesha Maguire Oates and Dolly Azeez . Also our U10 mixed relay team Jenny Purdy, Jade Kelly, Cameron Cassidy, Tolu Alaran & Kaci Connell. A big thank you to John Gilchriest who coached the children during training and to Paddy McPhillips for the training session in Athlone. Your help was invaluable.

We beat Killashee in the Championship on Sunday last are now through to the quarter-finals. All Ireland tickets can be won for just €2 - lines on sale now.
