This six week course starts on Sept. 3rd. at 7 pm in Lus na Greine FRC, Granard. It is self management course developed by Stanford University, USA and has proven to greatly benefit people challenged by arthritis. Complete cost for six two and half hour sessions €30. Living Life to the Full

Gatekeepers Course: This innovative course will run every Monday night starting from September 16th. at 7.30 pm. The course covers Life coping skills and resilience, stress management and change etc. It is open to everyone and the course itself is free. Booking necessary call 087 0558549

‘Gardening Sills’ FETAC Level 3: We are delighted to offer this fantastic course which is supported by Longford Westmeath Adult Education Board. It will run one morning a week over a 12 month period. It offers a great opportunity to learn a range of horticultural skills in practical hands on environment supported by a professional tutor. Booking commences weeks of 2nd. September by calling the centre.

Rainbows Support Group

Supporting children experiencing loss and trauma due to bereavement or family separation: An Open Information evening will be held on September 19th. at 8 pm in the centre to give Parents/Guardians an outline of what they can expect from the support programme.

Foroige Youth Club

An inaugural meeting to set up a Foroige Club in Granard area will be held in the centre on Wednesday, 25thth. September at 7.30 pm. We welcome volunteers, parents and all young people interested in this to come along. It is envisaged that this club will run alongside all our other youth services and youth groups as normal.

‘Raising Sons’ for Fathers

Feedback from fathers who have completed this short course has been very positive and in some cases life changing. We are delighted to offer the course this autumn in the centre. We are asking anyone interested to give us a call on 087 0558549. The course is free and highly recommended.
