We would again appeal to parents to bring rubbish with you from the playground. We would also encourage parents to remind their children not to dump their rubbish in the playground or on the streets. There are plenty of bins around the village. There are currently no bins in the playground as they would attract vermin including cats, rats and wasps. The children’s safety is very important. The equipment is for children under 13 years and is not built for any size of an adult. Every attempt to keep the playground clean and safe is greatly appreciated. It belongs to everyone so therefore there is a shared responsibility to keep it.
Numbers drawn 8, 11, 26, 29. 1 x €60 Vinney Conefrey. Seller’s prize: Micheál Carrigy. Draw takes place in Rawle’s Bar for the month of August at 9pm. Jackpot is €3,600.
