Death of Larry Lynch: The death occurred on New Years Day at his residence of Larry Lynch, Gortinty predeceased by his wife Vera, brothers Paddy and Michael John and sister Lil McNulty.Larry was 96 years of age, born in 1916 he was Annaduff’s oldest citizen.Larry is very deeply regretted by his sons Pauric, Micheal and Lar, daughters-law Rosaleen and Rosemarie, brother-in-law Paddy Farrell,grandchildren Brendan,Aine, Larry, Michael, Damien and Tara, Clare and Seamus,great-grandchildren Rhiannan and Brendan, nephews , nieces, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Removal took place from his residence to St. Marys Church, Annaduff with burial in the adjoining Cemetery. May he rest in peace.

Gathering Date: Looking for past pupils and their descendants of Annaduff National School . Come home and meet your old friends or foes.Send out the word and ask them to be here on 27th July 2013.There will be history tours of Annaduff, Dromod and Drumsna also a Field Day.

Drumsna Bingo: Bingo in Drumsna Community Centre every Thursday at 8.30.

Community Welfare Officer ( Change of Times): The Community Welfare Officer will be in Dromod Health Centre each Tuesday between 2.30pm and 3.30pm.This is a change from the morning slot of 10.30 to 11.30.

New Arrival: Congratulations to Conor and Dijana Gray, Dromod on the birth of a baby girl to be named Isabella, congrats also to the proud grandparents Danny and Lily Gray.

New Baby: Congratulations to Patrick and Tamara Harte, Annaduff on the birth of a baby girl to be called Aoibhinn. Congrats to the proud grandparents Tommie and Teasie Mcloughlin and Willie and Elizebeth Harte.

Baby Girl: Congratulations to Gerard and Ann Marie Faughnan, Finnelaughta on the birth of a baby girl. Another grandchild for Bernadette and Hugh Faughnan and Mary Moran, Eslin.

Drumsna Youth Club: He club resumes activities on this Wednesday January 16th from 7pm to 8pm.

Leitrim ladies G.A.A fundraiser: Leitrim Ladies G.A.A Fundraiser the Seamus O’Rourke play “For Club and County” takes place in the Mayflower, Drumshanbo on Saturday next 19th January at 8pm. Tickets available from Mary Shanley or Ann Marie Cox.

Dynamo Beaten: Dynamo Rooskey were beaten 3-2 by Grange in Mullingar on Saturday last. Seamus Kennedy scored both goals.
