Applications for Strokestown Easter Parade are still open. The Parade takes place in this town on Easter Sunday April 5th and all voluntary groups are free. All commercial floats are 30 euro. The Community Welfare Office will close at the end of this month. People from this region who used the Office will now have to travel to Dromod in Co. Leitrim or possibly Strokestown. The Department have stated that anyone who may have difficulty with this decision will be able to contact a special number which will be displayed on public notices in the region shortly. The new time clinic will be Thursdays 2.30pm to 3.30pm in Dromod.

Fr. Kevin Fallon will launch his CD titled ‘Twice the Catch’ in the Landmark Hotel on Thursday April 9th at 8pm. Doors open at 7pm. Guests on the night Fr.
