Karate Club

Well done to all students who graded successfully in Kilglass and Newtownforbes last week- Tommy, Gemma, Caithlin, Sean, Thomas, Rachel Bradley, Dylan, Rian, Jake & Fiachra. The hard work is definitely paying off. Our next squad training takes place on Saturday, 24th January - for all interested in attending please forward your name asap to Ann. We have a very busy few months ahead with leagues and championships taking place so with this in mind and also due to large number of students attending classes we have had to make some changes to class times. Class times for Newtownforbes are as follows- beginners and U10’s 7pm -7.45pm, advanced students 7.45pm - 8.30pm - all on Monday in GAA complex. Kilglass class times stay the same for the moment. We wish all members of our clubs taking part in the ongoing training courses with AMA the very best of luck. New students are always welcome and for further information please contact Ann Devlin on 087 9248816

Church Grounds

The Parish Finance Committee along with the Tidy Town’s Committee have drawn up plans to redesign the wall in front of the church. The higher wall will be lowered so as to be in line with the lower level wall. Plans are also in place to continue the paving of the side wall right in to meet the tarmac in front of the church, removing the chain off area.
