Classes resumes at the Community Centre, Drumlish this Wednesday, January 21st at 8.30pm, This class is for all ages (no age restriction!!) and all abilities, if your looking to enhance that first dance on your wedding day, learn a few moves or shed a few ounces after the festive session. St. Vincent’s Minor Club
With a busy new season on the horizon the club is currently seeking new coaches/trainers/mentors for all age groups from U6 right up to U18. All that’s needed is enthusiasm and a desire to be part of a vibrant and dynamic club catering for large numbers of young people in the Drumlish/Ballinamuck area. Even if you have limited or no experience of Gaelic football you can still get involved as coaching courses will be provided over the coming months. The charity game on St Stephens day was a good success. The Club want to thank the following, all the players who turned up despite the inclement weather. Everyone who supported it, Leo Devaney from the Porter House who sponsored the refreshments. All money raised will go towards providing cardiac screening for the players. Social and presentation in the Old Village Inn, Drumlish on Saturday night 7th of February at 9pm. On the night St Helens Championship winning team will be presented with their Intermediate medals. Also Fr Manning Gaels Club Personality of the year, Senior player of the year, U-21 player of the year, Minor player of the year will receive the awards. Tickets available from any member of the executive.
Monster clean up
Drumlish Tidy Town’s give advance notice of their upcoming clean up event scheduled for Saturday, 7th March next. The most littered approach road continues to be the 3km stretch from Kilnashee to the GAA Park at Monaduff. All parish organisations, residents and business interests along the route are invited to lend a hand for a couple of hours.
