Lanesboro Community College Open Day

The college will hold its open day on Thursday, 20th November. Pupils from the surrounding national schools are invited to attend and witness the wonderful work been carried out by students and teachers alike in the school. That evening both parents and students are invited to come in, speak to individual teachers, and get an up close view of all that is happening. With 95% of our Leaving Certificate students being offered a third level course this year, we can say with absolute confidence that your child will not get a better preparation for life anywhere else. Added value includes the intimacy of a smaller school where your child will feel an integral part of a larger family and where each student is valued as an individual in his or her own right. Teachers take a personal interest in each and every student and this leads to a high level of maturity and self - confidence in all our graduates. So come along on the evening and see for yourself ! Principal’s address is at 7.00 sharp.

Congratulations to Ollie Cox, Clondra who recently graduated from Athlone IT with a degree in Engineering. We wish Ollie very success in his chosen career.
