Edgeworthstown parent and children playgroup runs every Tuesday morning in The Green from 11am till 12.30. Looking for new babies and toddlers to come play with toys and painting. And for mums and dads to have chat over a cuppa.  Ring Caroline 0876418083 for any other details.

Set Dancing

Set Dancing Classes for Adults commencing on Thursday, 13th November 8pm to 10pm in the Community Centre, Edgeworthstown. Cost €5.00. Any queries contact Shane on: 087-7921362.  A good night’s fun assured and bring a friend! Sean Nos dancing classes continue in the Mostrim Arms each Friday evening at 8.30pm. New members welcome. Fee €5 with family concessions available.

Public meeting

Advance Notice of Public meeting in the Park House Hotel on Wednesday December 3rd at 8pm. Meet with our public representatives to discuss anti social behaviour and lawlessness in the Edgeworthstown and surrounding areas and how we as a community can regain our locality as a safe area in which to live in, to work in, to shop in, to relax in, again.  All are welcome - hold the date.

Mostrim GAA 

The Club is planning to create an online version of their Lotto. We are seeking email addresses of people who might be interested in signing on. The Lotto is a key fundraiser for the Club every year. Emails can be sent to secretary.mostrim.longford@gaa.ie or given to any Club officer. There was no jackpot winner in the last Lotto draw. Numbers drawn were 8, 12, 19, 24. Twenty-five euro winners were - Bartely McGovern, Donal Brady, Fr. Bannon, Eugene Noonan.
