HARD LUCK: Hard luck Carrigallen school girls. St Mary’s primary school girls were unlucky to loose to Annaduff in school girls final in Pairc Sean Carrick on Shannon Monday evening last week. A great close game between two well matched teams saw the Annaduff girls win in the last few minutes as our girls gave a great account of themselves all over the field. Congratlations girls on a wonderful effort . Also to coaches Mary and Michael Kenny. Our senior footballers were defeated by Glenfarne Kilty in the league at home on Friday. The north Leitrim team had the best of the first half on a score of 0-5 to 0-4. The second half was also closely contested with the visitors getting a crucial goal in the last 3 minutes to run out winners by 1-9 to Carrigallen’s 0-8.
