An Irish Language Summer Course (SIAMSA!) will take place from Monday, 7th July to Friday, 11th July in Gaelscoil Longfoirt. The course will take place from 9.30am to 3.00pm each day and will cater for students from Second Class to First Year. Congratulations

To Grace, daughter of Johnny and Bridget Quinn, Greagh, Drumlish and Seamus McEvoy, son of Rita and Brendan McEvoy, Lisleagh, who were recently married. The marriage was celebrated by Fr. Ber Hogan and Fr. Peter Beglan. Bridesmaids were Louise Quinn and Michelle Brady. Groomsmen were Gerard McEvoy and Paul Bohan. Music in the church by Jenny McCabe. All the guests enjoyed a beautiful meal in the Landmark Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon and danced the night away to the Night Fever and The Aftermath. We wish them many years of happiness in their new home.

All-Ireland Draw

Boxes are on sale for this years All-Ireland football final. Each box costs €100. The draw is limited to 100 boxes with the winner being decided by the final score in the All-Ireland final. 1st prize is €5,000. Tickets on sale from Michéal Carrigy. Money raised goes towards the football club.
