FIRST FRIDAY: This Friday is the first Friday of February and Holy Communion calls to the sick and housebound will take place at the usual times on Thursday and Friday mornings. Friday is also the Feast of St Blaise and blessing of the throat at morning mass at 10am in Legan and St Annes Ballycloghan at 7pm.

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION: The annual Church gate collection or Lourdes Invalid Fund takes place on weekend February 11/12 at Masses throughout the county. All money collected in this parish goes towards sending a sick person from the parish to Lourdes on the Diocesan Pilgrimage in May. Please support generously.

CARRICKBOY CELTIC: We are glad to report that Carrickboy Celtic soccer team are performing consistently well ,most notably with an impressive home victory 2-1 over Granard. We wish them continued success for the remainder of the season.
