Killoe minor club are holding a fundraising clothing and textile recycling collection in the Clonee, Killoe GAA grounds on Saturday, 3 May 2014. All club members and families are requested to donate unwanted clothes, unused mobile phones, books etc.


Sincere condolence is extended to Jimmy Finn and families, Carrowkeel, Ballyhaunus, Co Mayo, Anni Jo Igoe, (nee Shaughnessy) and families, Kellether, Killoe, Shaughnessy families Leyttergunnel/ Granard/Edgeworthstown/USA on the recent sad bereavement of Jimmy’s wife, Theresa (nee Shaughnessy, formerly Lettergunnel. The parish extend sympathy to the families, extended families, friends. Requiem mass was celebrated in St Patrick’s Church, Ballyhaunus with burial in local cemetery. May she rest in peace.


Sincere sympathy is extended to Joe McNamee and families, Leixlip, Co Kildare, Connell families, Ballinamuck, Creegan families, Mary Shaughnessy, (nee Connell) and families, Lettergunnell, on the sad bereavement of Joe’s wife, Kathleen (nee Connell, formerly Ballinamuck) who was laid to rest last week. The parish extend condolence to her husband Joe, son Kevin, daughters Aisling, Sinead, sisters Patsy Creegan, Mary Shaughnessy, brothers, Francis, Michael, aunt Molly, brothers/sisters in law, extended families, friends. Requiem mass was celebrated in the church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip, with burial in Confey cemetery. May she rest in peace.

Extended good wishes to Mrs Rose Hughes, Farragh, Killoe who is recuperating at home, to all parishioners in hospital or unwell at home, we wish everyone a peaceful happy Easter and a speedy recovery to good health.
