Irish Motor Neurone
The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association wish to sincerely thank the Killoe Yew Tree Drama Group for staging their popular play “The Stolen Child” in Ennybegs Community Centre on 12 January for the Motor Neurone Association and Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland charities, accomplishing a very generous donation of 1000 euro to each individual charity and the charities wish to thank the large number of people who attended in support and all who donated spot prizes. We extend good wishes to the Killoe Yew Tree Drama Group with their new play “Widows Paradise” which will be staged in the near future in Ennybegs Community Centre.
The blood donor’s clinic will be held in the Longford Arms Hotel Longford on Wednesday/ Thursday from 4.30 – 8pm. Your donation is essential for continuous available supplies.

The Ennybegs Community Centre AGM was held last week with annals showing weekly bingo as the main income source with keeping the centre floating and in good repair. More volunteers for Friday nights. Bingo sessions would be most welcome and new hall committee members are encouraged to join. The committee thank all who support the community centre throughout the year and bingo every Friday night at 8.30pm.
