There was a huge response to the collection held at both Churches St. Anne’s Scamogue and Sacred Heart Church, Whitehall in aid of the poor misfortunate people of Phillipines and Syria. 1,080 euro was collected in total. Thanks to you all for that great response.
The Roscommon Solstice Choir are back for a number of Concerts for the Festive Season, the first takes place on next Sunday evening 1st December in Mount Carmel, Church, Ruskey commencing at 8pm. There are over one hundred members on the Choir. This promises to be a very special performance to get the Festive season underway. Admission is optional. Proceeds in aid of Ruskey Church Restoration Fund. Come along and enjoy a lovely evening.
Thanks to all who supported the Table Quiz in Costello’s on Friday night last in aid of St. Barry’s GAA Ladies Club. An enjoyable night was had by all.

The Community of Scramogue are looking forward to their Annual Card Game in aid of Scramogue Church Restoration Fund which takes place in Leavy’s Lounge on Saturday, 14th December. There are great prizes to be won. 1st prize Monster Hamper, 2nd prize 100 euro, 3rd prize 50 euro. Tickets are just three euro. The Annual 25 Card Game is always an enjoyable night. Tickets are just 3 euro each and are on sale from any member of the Committee.

A special water ski will take place on Christmas Morning as a”Tribute” to the late Brian King. Enquiries to 087-6356729.The event is been organised by Whitehall/Kilglass Special Needs Group. The launch of the event took place at Strokestown Golf last Friday night. Lines are now on sale throughout the region and more details will become available in the coming weeks.

The parent and toddler group has resumed every Tuesday at Buttercups Playschool between 10an to 12noon.Please come along.
