Sanctuary Players

Tarmonbarry Drama Group are planning to stage a very enjoyable comedy play in the future. They are presently looking for 2 ladies between the ages of 25 and 45 years to join the group as there are two small parts to be filled. No previous acting experience is necessary as direction and training will be given. Ladies out there now is your chance to try out your acting skills. Joining a drama group is great fun and develops the person and builds up their confidence and an enjoyable way to pass the winter nights. For more information please contact Donal at 085 1044931.

Collection

Church gate collection in aid of Epilepsy Ireland this weekend 28th and 29th November both in Killashee and Clondra. Your support would be very much appreciated.

Dog walkers

Would the people who walk their dogs in the area past St Brendan’s Church, Clondra please clean up after their dogs. It has become a major problem on the footpaths outside the church. This is a serious and environmental health issue for the people who have to endure it. Also the Church Sacristan has to constantly clean up the dog foul. We hope dog owners concerned will take suitable action and help keep our village clean and tidy.

Recent wedding

Congratulations and best wishes to Paul Barden, Kilmore Lower and Rachel Farrell, Delgany, Wicklow, who were married in St Mary’s Church, Newtownforbes recently. We wish the happy couple many years of wedded bliss and good health.
