Congratulations to all involved in the Mission. A sincere word of thanks to Fr. Denis and Fr.Derek for leading our Mission in the Parish this week. Thank you also to the many people who have helped prepare for the Mission and have contributed in various ways to the liturgies and events over the past week in Kilglass, Rooskey and Slatta. A final thanks to all the people who turned out in great numbers.
There is a Monster Auction in aid of the Church Restoration Fund on the 6th October at 2pm in the Kon Tiki. We are looking for items of good saleable quality. All donations, turf, logs, hay, household items (the odd sheep/ heifer) gratefully accepted. We are also looking for man/woman power in the run up to and on the day of Auction. Please pray for the repose of the soul of J.J. Murphy R.I.P., late of Skeagh, Kilmore (father of Eileen Deehan, Slatta and brother of Ursula Sherwin, Mullagh) whose Funeral Mass took place in Kilmore Church on Friday. May he rest in peace.
