Annaduff draw in Division 1: Annaduff drew at 1-8 each with Ballinamore in Ballinamore on Sunday in a match that Ballinamore looked the likely winners having led by 6 points at the break and 7 points early in the second half however Sean McNabola saved Annaduff with a goal in the 60th minute.

Death of Luke Mulhern, Rahara: The death occurred last week of Luke Mulhern, Rahara, Athleague.Luke was Work Study Officer in Hanley Meats, Rooskey in the 70s and 80s. Deepest sympathy is extended to his wife Cathy and family. May he rest in Peace.

Sympathy: Deepest Sympathy is extended to the Hogg family, Kilmore on the death of Tommy Hogg, Prospect Lodge, Tooliscan, Kilmore. Removal took place from McHugh’s Funeral Home, Strokestown to Dangan Church with burial in Kilmore Cemetery. May he rest in Peace.

Annaduff win in Division 3: Annaduff beat Kiltubrid in Division 3 by 2-7 to 0-8 in Annaduff on Saturday evening. Kiltubrid led by 0-6 to 0-2 at the break however second half goals from the Moheraven duo Barry Daly and Niall Maxwell sealed the game for Annaduff. On Saturday, there will be Sports Bar-B-Q and a general get together. On Sunday there will be Service in St.Ann’s Church and Mass possibly on the Mass Rock followed by Historical Tour of Dromod and Drumsna. The afternoon’s entertainment in Drumsna Community Centre will have a nostalgic flavour with many surprises.

Festival Day: The Annual Family Festival Day takes place on Sunday 5th May. All the usual attractions including a 5km Fun Run. Residents are asked to bake Cakes, Buns, Pies etc. to sell on the day on behalf of Dromod Development. These can be left in Cox’s Steakhouse on Saturday 4th May or before Noon on the day at the Marquee.

Foroige Walk To-Day: Drumsna Foroige are doing a 5km walk in aid of CROI (Fighting heart disease and stroke) on to-day Wednesday at 7.30pm. All are welcome.
