WEDDING BELLS: Heartiest congratulations are extended to Mary McGahern Loughdavin Loughduff and Frankie Sullivan Larkfield Dring who were united in the ceremony of matrimony in St Joseph’s Church Loughduff on Saturday 13th April by Canon Owen Devaney. The bride was given in marriage by her brothers Peter attended by bridesmaids Rose Dalton Ann Marie Boyle and Fiona Reilly. Best man Bernard Donohoe , groomsman Owen Kiernan and Sean Mulligan. GOWNA GATHERING 2013: The Gowna Gathering Festival will take place on the August Bank Holiday weekend from 2nd to the 4th August. The festival will be focused around the 25th anniversary of the 1988 senior championship winning teams in mens football and womens camogie. On Friday 2nd August exhibition of local organisations including football, camogie hunting fishing tidy towns and many more in the hall at the official opening of hall extension. Saturday 3rd August presentation to the 25th anniversary of the 1988 senior championship winning teams in men’s football and womens camogie in the Pikers Lodge Hotel. SYMPATHY: Sympathy is extended to Mrs Kathleen Brady Corfree Loch Gowna on the death of her brother Edward Morgan Woodlands Ave Mullingar which occurred on Sunday 14th April at St James Hospital Dublin. Following funeral mass in the cathedral of Christ the King Mullingar on Wednesday burial took place in Clonbroney cemetery also Sympathy to his daughters Karen Lorraine and son Kevin, brothers Pat and Hubert,sons in law brothers in law sisters in law nieces nephews relatives and friends.
