EDGEWORTHSTOWN ESTATES: The grass cutting has resumed in the housing estates for the summer months. Great credit is due to the participants on the TUS Scheme who are maintaining the estates in the town to a high standard and keeping the litter under control. The Tidy Towns and the Town Development are working tirelessly to keep this project going but without the co-operation of the public all the good work will cease. We are asking all home owners, tenants and landlords for a small monetary contribution to help pay for the running costs of the lawn mowers and strimmers. Committee members and volunteers will be calling to each house in the coming weeks to collect the contribution so please support. You can also leave your contribution in to Edgeworthstown Development Office on the Ballymahon Road.
