We had schoolchildren Emily Carr and Michael Courtney read their stories and Mary Kiernan read a detailed letter written by a North Longford survivor. Billy Kelleher called in and sang a few songs and there was a display of beautiful knitwear admired by all. We extend a very sincere thanks to the staff Mary Carlton –Reynolds and Helen Sheridan for having us at the Library and for providing such a delicious variety of food – Helen’s currant cake disappeared in a hurry!
