Scór na nÓg: The Junior Scór na nÓg finals took place in Lanesboro on Sunday last. The club managed to qualify for the finals in both the Solo Singing and Question Time events which was an achievement in itself. Andrea Glennon gave a stirring rendition of ‘A Song for Ireland’ in the Solo Singing but was most unfortunate to just miss out on the title against very strong opposition. The Question Time team of Ciaran Madden, Veronica Breslin and Dearbhaile Madden managed to deliver the first title for the club in this category since 2003. This trio produced an emphatic display to win by a margin of eighteen points. Thanks to Tommy Nevin for his great help with the team over the last month. A sincere thanks to Andrea, Ciaran, Veronica and Dearbhaile for representing the club in Scór for 2012. Ní neart go cur le chéile.
