NEW FACE BOOK PAGE: RATHOWEN COMMUNITY DIARY: The RCD has organised a Face Book page called Rathowen Community Diary and it is simply all about the community and businesses we have in the area. We are asking everyone who is on Face Book to “like” the page and pass it on to your friends and family at home and abroad. Committee member Lisa Fulham has put in a huge amount of work in setting up the page and taking photos of the area and letting everyone know about events in the local community, so tell everyone and ask them to drop a line and let us know what they think.

“I’M THE ONE FOR YOU”: The village was buzzing with people who came to see Jimmy Keary’s play “I’m the one for you” which was put on by the cast and crew of Rathowen Amateur Dramatics Society. The laughter was loud and the enjoyment on everyone’s faces was enough for the RADS to know their hard work was not in vain. The RADS would like to thank all who came out to see the play especially Friday night with the very bad fog and thanks to all you gave spot prizes and who helped out on the night. The group are not a profit making so they decided to give donations to the two local schools and to Rathowen Tidy Towns which was gratefully received by all. Well done to all involved it was a delight to watch and to bring the community together for the 3 night. Looking forward to next year!!!
