A rep.of Longford Volunteer Centre will then give short talk followed by lunch in The Aubergine, Longford at 2:30pm. IFA: The annual general meeting of the Ballinalee IFA branch will take place on Tuesday last in Farrells lounge. Chairman for 2013 is Damian Reilly ,secretary Charlie Reilly; vice chairman Michael McGlynn. Guest speaker on the night was County chairman Andrew McHugh who gave a talk on CAP reform. The meeting was well attended and a lively discussion took place.

LOTTO: Numbers drawn 12,15,24,25. No jackpot winner. 3 X 20 euro Sandra Martin, Kay Dalton, Peter Conboy. Sellers prize Stella Rawle. Jackpot is 3500 euro. Draw in Farrells for month of December.

FOROIGE: Our Foroige club will resume in January. New members are welcome. It caters for 13-18 year olds. More details in the coming weeks.

BADMINTON: The new club plays in the local hall every Tuesday 8-10pm. New members welcome.

MOTHER AND TODDLER: The local group meets every Monday from 10-12pm in Currycahill Hall.

DEFIBRILLATOR: Our second defib has been installed at Clonbroney Church on the front pier walls. Thanks to everybody who has supported the clothes collection and mobile phone collections so far. We continue to collect towards another one for the parish.

AGM: The AGM of the John Duncan branch of CCE will hold their AGM this Thursday evening at 7pm in the Granard Area Action Group offices. All welcome.

SCOR NA NOG: Congratulations to our figure dancers Michelle Heaney,Emma Doris, Sharon and Lisa Brady,Sinead Heaney,Shauna Earlie, Laurna Fox and Mary Reynolds on winning a county title on Sunday. The club was also represented on the day by Sinead Heaney for recitation and our novelty act. Both performed very well but were unlucky on the day. Thanks to Jacinta Reynolds for her work with the dancers. Well done to all.
