CEMETERY SUNDAY: Will take place in Kilcommock cemetry on Sunday August 12th . Mass will be celebrated in Saint Dominics Church at 11am followed by prayers for the dead and blessing of graves at the cemetery. All plot holders please make sure that graves are lawn mowed and tidied up before August 12th.
SPONSORED WALK: There was a very successful sponsored walk around Mosstown last Sunday morning . All proceeds are in aid of harvest festival and Lough Ree scuba divers . Thanks to all who subscribed and to all who did the walk. Over two thousand euro was collected which is greatly appreciated. Thanks to the El Paso for refreshments served after the walk.
MEETING: There will be a meeting of county Longford harvest Festival committee in the El Paso on Friday night July 20th at 9pm. All interested please attend.
TABLE QUIZ: There will be a table quiz in the El Paso on this Friday night in the El Paso at 10pm sharp in aid of Carriage Racing Demonstration and field day. Tables of four 40 euro. A raffle will also be held. Proceeds will go to local charities after expences. Refreshments served.
