FAILTE CATHAL: His countless friends extend a warm ceid mile failte to popular Dublin Road native Cathal Fitzpatrick who has returned to his home town following an extended vacation.

CONCERT: In aid of Cistic Fibrosis featuring Mick Flavin and his band with a host of visiting artists in the community centre Ballinagh on Monday March 5th commencing at 8pm.

GARDENING CLUB: Ballinagh Gardening club met in the community centre on Monday March 12th commencing at 8pm. Please note change of date.

VINTAGE CLUB: The annual general meeting of Ballinagh and district vintage club takes place in Cronins lounge on Friday March 2nd at 9pm. All members please attend.

ST PATRICKS DAY: The annual St Patricks day parade featuring marching bands and floats plus a few surprises takes place on Saturday March 17th commencing at 4pm. Shops and organisations plus business enterprises and sporting organisations are encouraged to enter floats. The parade has an earlier start than previous years in order to accommodate those wishing to watch the rugby game. The parade has grown over the years and has become a key social event in the town. To aid the smooth running the organising committee would appreciate if those taking part could text 087 765 1070 with the groups name. In addition this year will see a busking competition sponsored by Eamon Gavin. More details next week the community are asked to please get involved.
