Eucharist Congress: The Eucharist Congress will take place from Sunday 10th June to Sunday 17th June. The concluding cermony, including Mass will take place in Croke Park. The other ceremonies take place in the RDS. Tickets are necessary for all events. Full details relating to the Congress can be found on the website:www.iec2012.ie. The Parish of Ardagh and Moydow have been allocated 12 tickets for the Croke Park event only. If you are interested in going to Croke Park, or any other event please contact Sr. Maria 043 6675080 or 086 3679632.If we have more than twelve they will be chosen by lottery as application forms and booking fee of €10 have to be returned before 10th March.
Stations: Those hosting the Station Mass in the Ardagh area this year, please contact Parochial House as soon as possible, it is hoped to have stations completed before St. Patrick’s Day.

GAA News: Annual Social Night: Our Annual Social and Presentation Night takes place on Saturday 10th March 2012 in Cooney’s Hotel Ballymahon. Music by Low Milage. Ticket are €15.00 each. Buffet served at 9.00 p.m. sharp. There is a bus service to and from Ardagh Village on the night. Tickets are now available from any member of the executive committee.

IRISH DANCING: A new beginners Irish dance class continues every Tuesday evening at 6.30pm in Ardagh Community Centre. Beginners also welcome at 4pm. Classes have now resumed after midterm break. Now wigs fake tans make up - for dancers. Parents welcome to stay at class. Fees 4.50 euro per child per lesson with a family rate of 10 euro for all members of the family with further monthly reductions for those who choose to pay by the month. ARDAGH & BALLYCLOGHAN COMMUNITY ALERT: We wish to thank all the volunteers for their help in our bag packing fundraiser in Tesco in Longford on the 18th February 2012. It was successful. We would also like to thank the management and staff of Tesco for all their help especially Cllr Paul Connell for arranging the event and for his advice and support. We would like to thank the public who generously donated to our collection.
ARDAGH BOWLS: Our bowls team had a great win last Wednesday beating Castlepollard 4 nil away in Castlepollard. Jaz Keenan made his debut and played his part in the victory. Next Thursday we take on league leaders Mullingar in Ardagh at 8pm. All bowlers are asked to be available. Practise takes place next Monday & most Mondays at 6pm in Ardagh Community Centre.
MOYDOW ROUNDERS REGISTRATION DAY: It’s Rounders Season again, and our Rounders Club are holding Registration on Saturday 10th March 2012 between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. at Moydow GAA Clubhouse.
