Well done to the Cavan senior Team who defeated London on Saturday last in Ruislip on a score 2-22 to 0-11. They now meet old rivals Roscommon on Saturday week, 4th July in Kingspan Breffni Park in what will be a huge game for Cavan. Ciaran Brady made his debut for Cavan and marked it with a fantastic run through the middle of the London defence to set up Cavan’s first goal. Unfortunately, for Cavan the loss of Rory Dunne will be a big blow going forward and we wish him a speedy recovery. Hopefully, Killian Clarke will be fit again to start that game. Minors: Cavan Minor team had a hard earned victory over Antrim in the Ulster Championship semi-final in Kingspan Breffni Park on Sunday last to book their place in the Ulster Final. Well done to all involved.
We say hard luck to the Cavan Senior Ladies team who were defeated by Tyrone in the Ulster Championship on Saturday last in Brewster Park, Enniskillen by a single point (1-12 to 0-14) after extra time.
