The local and North Westmeath community were saddened to learn of the death, which took place on Tuesday, June 16th, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Camillus’ Nursing Centre, Killucan, of Kathleen Murtagh, Hillside Drive, Mullingar, and Lake Road, Collinstown. The remains reposed in St. Camillus’ Nursing Centre Chapel on Thursday, June 18th, from 3.30pm followed by Mass at 5.30pm. Removal took place to St. Mary’s Church, Collinstown, arriving at 7.15pm. The funeral took place following Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Friday, June 19th, and internment took place afterwards in the local cemetery.
