A special word of thanks to Michael Walsh who sponsored the Tom Walsh Memorial event which is in memory of his late brother Tom, who was  a valued member of the Greville Arms Golf Society, Granard. We retained this cup in May. He thanked John Duffy who donated the prizes for the enjoyable away outing in Sligo. A well deserved award

A big congrats to St Maeve Brady who was honoured recently for her great community work when she received the Benemerenti medal at a ceremony in St Mary’s Church, Granard. St Maeve, was instrumental in the setting up of the Dolmen Club here in Colmcille, which plays an invaluable role in the lives of the older people in our community and  this is a richly deserved award indeed.
