Legan ICA Guild members wish Longford Federation President, May Campbell the best of luck in Strictly Come Dancing this Friday, 6th and Saturday, 7th February in the Longford Arms Hotel. May and her partner Trevor McHugh will join fifteen other couples in the Dance off to raise funds for Attic House and the Temperance Hall. Our members will be out in force on Saturday night to support our President. There are still a few tickets available for Friday night and this promises to be great craic!


The monthly meeting of Legan ICA Guild takes place on Monday, 9th February in the GAA Clubhouse starting at 7.30pm. A registered Practitioner in Bio Energy will give a talk on energy healing therapy which originated in China thousands of years ago. Members and non- members welcome.

Table Quiz

Longford Federation ICA Table Quiz will be held in The Chestnut Tree, Killashee on Tuesday 17th February at 8.00pm. Tables of three cost €30 and is open to non ICA people. Winning ICA team will represent Longford Federation in the final at An Grianan in March.

Inny Anglers

Results of last week’s Inny Anglers Lotto draw held on Saturday, 31st January for a jackpot of €6,950. Numbers drawn were 11, 16, 22 and 25. There was no jackpot winner. Special draw winners of €40 were Jamie Kenny and Peggy Marlowe. This week’s draw takes place in Mitchell’s for a jackpot of €7,000.


Results of GAA Lotto draw held on Monday, 26th January in The Hill, Carrickboy for a jackpot of €10,000. Numbers drawn were 7, 17, 19 and 23. There was no jackpot winner. Match three winners of €35 each were P Byrne, Veronica Donnelly and Mick Nulty. This week’s draw was held in Mitchell’s and results will be published next week.
