A lot of road surfacing and road strengthing has been taking place throughout the region and some people have been unhappy with the programme of work. People have been complaining that contractors have allegedly scant regard for residents and motorists, pedestrians and cyclists. However, the work has to be carried out and this does cause inconvenience to all. Some people have been making complaints to the Executive of Roscommon Co Council about their annoyance and frustration, hopefully, the work will be totally completed shortly and that the improvements will make things better.
