Irish Dancing

The O’ Reilly School of Irish Dancing have resumed classes after the summer break in the community centre.  Class is every Wednesday 3.15 – 4.15pm, all new pupils welcome, any enquires please text Carole on 087 7181698.

Bia Déas Cafe

Joan and Seamus Gilchriest opened the Bia Déas Cafe on Monday, 15th September, serving deli and takeaway. We welcome your custom and look forward to seeing you.

Mostrim GAA

There was no jackpot winner in the last Lotto draw. Numbers drawn were 4, 6, 14, 24. Twenty-five euro winners were Martin Coyle, Willie Monaghan, Barry Kane, Kevin McCann, Tyrone.


Music classes have resumed in The Green every Saturday. We have a range of tutors who teach various instruments on site. Instruments taught include: Bodhran, Drums, Tin Whistle, Flute, Keyboard, Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle, Guitar and Trad Guitar. Also this year we have added on Pop, Rock and Country Drumming classes with Aaron Murphy. To register call Pauline on 086-1513152.

Tidy Towns

Congrats to everyone involved in the Tidy Town’s this year. There was an increase of 13 points on last year. The judges gave some very complimentary comments and acknowledged the hard work put in by the volunteers. The Town is looking its best. Well done everybody.

English Classes

Registration will take place for English classes on Thursday, 18th September in the Old Schoolhouse, Ballymahon Road from 9.30am to 11.30am.
