A huge thank you to all who took part in our craft day on Saturday. What a success, the crafts on display were second to none and thanks to all who gave in items. The crafters who took tables put on a great show and I’m sure all had a good day. The ladies in the cafe made everyone feel so welcome and the buzz around the temperance hall was great, roll on next year, ICA is alive and well in Longford. Our next outing will be Longford show at the end of July. I will be in touch with you all as regards baking for the cafe. Hope you all have a great summer and come back fully charged with loads of ideas and new members in September.
The village is looking great. We’re not sure if the judges have visited yet, so we’re still on high alert. Please continue to be vigilant about litter control and a close eye is being kept on the misused litter bins. Work continues on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm. Thanks to everyone who goes out during the week in their own time when Tuesday evenings don’t suit. We have a great team of helpers and welcome anyone who has an hour or two to spare during the week.
